And that that loss is normal though often unexpected. Every right turn means we haven&#039;t made the left turn. Moving forward means leaving some things behind. Recognizing this, and allowing ourselves to feel the sadness etc is so important. Thanks for this reminder.]]></description>

I didn&#039;t think about that process as grieving, but it certainly makes me feel better about it, since it sounds a lot more dignified than my interpretation that I was just plain &quot;losing it&quot;!

Seriously, though, it makes sense, you invest years in a career and you&#039;re expected to walk away from it all and feel all peppy and positive about moving on. When you don&#039;t, you start to question your own sanity. Thanks for the reality check, Caryn!]]></description>
